Know what? Those guys at the AFI aren't all that thorough.
One of the most thrilling movies of all time (be it in top 100 or 400) has to be "The Hidden", another work from the 1980s!
This is a relentlessly heart-pounding thriller with everything in its ingredients - suspense, violence, pathos, even a plot which - although about aliens disguised as humans - has more than the usual twists to make it less than predictable for the audience.
"The Hidden" is one movie where you cannot afford to take your eyes off the screen for even one second - or you may miss something important to the plot.
Chalk another one up for the 1980s!!
