Was this a cartoon or live action? What do you mean by a prowler? Do you know anything about the man, his relationship with the prowler? Anything??

>It aired in the late 80's and/or early 90's (I believe). There was a purple prowler in it & I think the main character was a man. That's all I remember. Anyone know the name?
